Koka Booth Amphitheatre in the Town of Cary is set to launch a new concert series starting Wednesday, August 31 that is sure to satisfy the bluegrass fan under the roof of your family’s new dream house in the South Lakes new home community as the “Pickin’ in the Pines” concert series is just a quick drive from Fuquay Varina with top acts performing weekly throughout the fall.

Featuring some of the best and most popular bluegrass acts in the area, Koka Booth Amphitheatre will play host to the “Pickin’ in the Pines” series every Wednesday night from 5:30-8:30 p.m. throughout the months of September and October. Making an effort to create a laid back and casual setting for the new bluegrass series, all seating and the performances at Koka Booth Amphitheatre for “Pickin’ in the Pines” will be on the venues spacious Cresent Deck.

Koka Booth Amphitheatre welcomes you to bring the fixings for a picnic as you and your friends of family enjoy the bluegrass sounds each Wednesday night, however beer or wine can only be purchased at the venue’s concessions and you will not be allowed to bring these items in to the concerts. With the series’ two main sponsors being Ruckus Pizza, Pasta, and Spirits, and Sweetwater Brewing Company, the selection of food and beverage available at each of the shows is sure to be fantastic.

In addition to picnic items being allowed at Koka Booth Amphitheatre for the “Pickin’ at the Pines” series, the following items are also allowed in the venue for these shows: lawn chairs, blankets, bottled water, backpacks, purses, and small non-professional cameras.

Tickets for the “Pickin’ at the Pines” bluegrass series at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, are only $5 for adults and kids under 12 are free, with a $20 price for all five concerts. The Wednesday night lineup for the series includes:
