The cold of winter turning into the warmer days of spring signifies one thing for Triangle area residents, as the premier outdoor event venue,  Cary’s Koka Booth Ampitheatre reopens for the season and brings only a short drive from your new home at the South Lakes community in Fuquay Varina, one of the most anticipated events on the schedule of Koka Booth Spring Events with the annual Beer and Bacon Festival on Saturday, April 6.

Once again, at the forefront of this tradition among Koka Booth Spring Events, is its showcasing of 75 craft beers, wines, spirits, and ciders. There will also be no less than 12 restaurants and food trucks on hand at this years’ Beer and Bacon Fest, all featuring incredible bacon-themed offerings. These stations open when the festival begins at noon and are open until 3:00 pm for your tasting pleasure.

This year there will also be a new addition that has not before been seen at any previous Beer and Bacon Fest, or any other Koka Booth Spring Events, as attendees can check out the all-new “Mac and Cheese Pavillion.” The official Koka Booth website describes this new addition to the festival, saying, “ We’re having a melt down with 16 different Mac and cheese’s  for you to try at the show.  Try everybody’s favorite dish from Cary’s best food trucks and restaurants.”

With this years’ slogan being “Bottoms Up, Bacon Down,” the entire event will run from its 12:00 pm start until 6:00 pm and this is a rain or shine event.

A more in-depth listing of “what’s on the griddle” for the 2019 Beer and Bacon Fest is as follows:

  • 12 restaurants and food trucks featuring bacon dishes.
  • New for this year Mac and Cheese Pavilion for VIP Ticket holders.  16 different mac and cheese varieties for you to try at the show.
  • New for this year,  Bacon Art Displays
  • The Bacon Griddles will be cooking 2 tons of gourmet bacon throughout the days’ festivities
  • Live music on the main stage all day long
  • A whole hog buthering demonstration.
  • Plus a variety of fun foodie exhibits and so much more

Much like any of the wildly popular Koka Booth Spring Events, you will not want to delay in getting tickets early for the “Beer and Bacon Fest.” Last years’ event sold out completely, and several different ticket options are available with prices varying for VIP sessions to regular beer tasting admission.

Koka Booth Amphitheatre is located at 8003 Regency Parkway in Cary. For further information on this and all other Koka Booth Spring Events this spring are available at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre website at
