A night of fun for the whole family, both young and old, the Fuquay Varina Independence Day Celebration has become known locally as an “explosive” night of entertainment. Friends, family, and neighbors alike will head to South Park, located at 820 South Main Street, with the Fuquay Varina Independence Day Celebration set to kick off at 6 p.m. The annual July 4 weekend tradition will have plenty of great activities for both the youngsters and the adults leading up to the spectacular fireworks display that concludes the evening’s festivities.
For the kids specifically, the Fuquay Varina Independence Day Celebration will have an array of rides and activities to keep them smiling and the always popular inflatables will once again be on site at South Park for them to enjoy. A host of food vendors will also be at the park, giving members of the community a choice of many different tasty options in both food and drink. The festivities kick off at the Fuquay Varina Independence Day Celebration with a free concert featuring the some of the most popular live music in the area, starting at at 6:30 p.m. Closing out the Fuquay Varina Independence Day Celebration, as always, will be the spectacular fireworks display, which is set to fill the sky once the sun has gone down.
For those planning to attend the Independence Day celebration in Fuquay Varina, blankets and chairs can be set in the lawn at the park to reserve a good spot to view the fireworks. Coolers are allowed, however, the event is alcohol free. The town of Fuquay also prohibits animals from the event.
