Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Concert Series

Located just a short drive up the road from Fuquay Varina’s South Lakes new home neighborhood, at 8003 Regency Parkway in Cary, the  Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Concert Lineup includes a wide variety of world-class talent in all genres of music.

The huge Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Lineup will get into full swing this weekend, with guitar great, Chris Stapleton taking the stage on Friday night, May 20 and then the hilarious stylings of Russell Peters coming into town on Saturday the 21st. Finishing off the weekend will be a country legend, Willie Nelson, who will be joined by Kris Kristofferson, as well as Ben and Noel Haggard, who will pay tribute to the recently deceased country icon, Merle Haggard.

For the jazz fans under your roof, the Hob Nob Jazz Series will run for three consecutive Wednesday nights starting in late May, as a part of the Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Concert Lineup, beginning with Peter Lamb and the Wolves on May 25, Yolanda Rabun on June 1, and La Fiesta Jazz Quintet on June 8.

The majority of the month of June as the Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Concert Lineup rolls along will see the critically acclaimed North Carolina Symphony and their always popular, annual NC Summerfest Series. This series sees a variety of guests joining the Symphony and the ensemble taking on different themes and genres during each performance. This year NC Summerfest Series from the North Carolina Symphony schedule is as follows:

  • May 28– Opening Night Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony
  • June 3- Gershwin and Jazz with Joey Alexander
  • June 4- Classics Under the Stars
  • June 10- John Williams Festival I
  • June 11- John Williams Festival II
  • June 16- Beethoven Festival I
  • June 17- Beethoven Festival II
  • June 24- Broadway at the Booth
  • June 25- The Music of David Bowie: A Musical Odyssey
  • July 4- Independence Day (Free Show)
  • July 9- Beach Music with North Tower Band

The national acts appearing as a part of the Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Lineup return in early July as well, with Modest Mouse taking the Cary stage on Wednesday, July 6. Flight of the Conchords is the next act to come into Koka Booth on Monday, July 18 and the Wheels of Soul Tour featuring the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Los Lobos, and North Mississippi All Stars share the bill on July 22.

Heading into August and September, a few faces familiar to an older generation highlight the Koka Booth Amphitheatre Summer Lineup, with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (August 7) and ZZ Top with Gov’t Mule (Sept. 14) scheduled to appear. The Lumineers on Thursday, September 15 and Alabama with the Charlie Daniels Band on Friday, October 7 round out the Koka Booth Amphithatre Summer Concert Lineup.
