The final two Saturday’s of the month are truly a sign that the sunny days of summer are on their way, as the annual North Carolina Symphony “Summerfest” begins on the 24th with the performance of “Beethoven’s Fifth.” To end the month, on May 31, the second installment of “Summerfest” welcomes Carmina Burana to Koka Booth.
