Army veteran Oliver “Ollie” Hughes, who lost his left leg in combat in 2011, sits with his wife Megan and their four children during a ceremony for Operation: Coming Home in Fuquay-Varina on Thursday, April 10, 2014. The Hughes family received a free home.

The house was donated by Operation: Coming Home, a joint project of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County, the U.S. Veterans Corps and local nonprofits and businesses. This is the seventh house provided to wounded veterans by Operation: Coming Home. The Hughes family will move into their 2,400-square-foot home on Saturday.
