Raleigh Summer Concerts

The top names in all genres of music will be “heating up” the stage just a short drive from your new home at the South Lakes new home community in Fuquay Varina, with some of the biggest name performers world wide appearing as part of a series of Raleigh Summer Concerts in the months of July and August at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh.

Kicking off what is sure to be a “red hot” month of Raleigh Summer Concerts at Walnut Creek that will satisfy the musical tastes of anyone under your roof at your new house at South Lakes will be a trio of award winning country stars as Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, and Chase Bryant pull through the “Capital City” on Friday, July 10. The following night the joint will surely be rocking as well, with a twin bill of Kid Rock and Foreigner playing on July 11. The following weekend also has a little something for everyone, as Toby Keith and the Eli Young Band come to town on July 17 and the popular trio of Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, and Hoodie Allen will surely have the younger crowd dancing to their beats on the 18th.  Rounding out the month of July for the Raleigh Summer Concerts schedule will be a show with a bit of local flare, as Rascal Flatts and Rae Lynn are joined by Garner native, and former winner of “American Idol,” Scotty McCreery for what is sure to be a fun home coming for the country star.

Classic rockers will no doubt be delighted with the first of Walnut Creek’s Raleigh Summer Concerts of August, as the sounds of Steely Dan, Elvis Costello, and the Imposters will fill the air on Thursday night, August 6. On Saturday, the 8th, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt bring their world tour to Raleigh, with another area favorite, Florida Georgia Line headlining what is sure to be a great show August 13. Closing out the August lineup at Walnut Creek will be Darius Rucker and his three opening acts, Brett Eldridge, Brothers Osborne, and a Thousand Horses on Friday night, August 28.
